Ellen and I decided to take a short vacation in the San Diego area. We have a time share in the Welk Resort so we are pretty close to everything.
On the first night , we went to see a Creedance Clearwater Revival tribute band, Fortunate Son.
Day two was spent downtown. First, a trip through the Comic Con and Automobile museums in Balboa park.
Next, we headed on down to Seaport Village. We had a quick bite and took a tour on the SEAL Tours amphibious trolley.
Day three went went to another car museum, Deer Park.
We went back to the resort to cleanup for a night at the Valley View Casino with dinner and the prestigious Black&Blue restaurant for what has been called "San Diego's best Rib Eye".
The last day we spent at the pool. We rented a cabana for the day which kept us safe from the sun.
