What did I do this last weekend? Lots of R&R!
With my brother and his posse here over a three day weekend followed by a hectic five days at work, I needed a break! Don't get me wrong . . . I love my brother and his family, but they are a little too energenic sometimes. I am normally lazy on the weekends, and double that this weekend!
Saturday, we woke up at 10:00. Ellen stared cooking breakfast about 11:00 and I finally got the kitchen cleaned around 1:00. I would have lounged around the house the rest of the day, still in the clothes I slept in, until work called at 2:00. We have do deliver our product next week and the lab is manned 24/7. I took a shower and went to work, unshaved, wearing shorts and my "No, I will not fix your computer" t-shirt. Needless to say, I recieved lots of looks and even a couple warnings about my apparal. Too bad they needed me! I came home two hours later with all the needed repairs done. A quick run to Cosco and the rest of the day was spent lounging and watching TV. We snuck out for a few to have dinner at In-N-Out Burger, but more or less, we were just plain lazy.
Sunday was more of the same . . . sleeping-in late and doing lots of lounging. I spent most of the day in front of a computer, getting a friend's system up and running with a fresh install.
Monday, it was back to the coal mine . . .
Looks like I will be setting-up the product we are shipping out at work in Mojave at the end of the week. Busy, busy, busy! I hope Christmas comes soon . . .
