Only one more week to go! This Christmas feels a little weird. I am in a new home, my best friend now lives on the other side of the country and I don't really socialize with my coworkers. On the bright side, Ellen's parents live only a mile away and I don't have to drive very far to finish my Christmas shopping.
My weekend was a little hectic. Saturday, I went to Long Beach to get my surprise gift for Ellen, but it was not ready yet, so I will be forced to drive back in commuter traffic. ARRRGH! Oh well, Ellen is worth it!
Sunday, Ellen and I did the "Flight of the Bumble Bee" and cleaned house before some friends from out-of-town showed up for a visit.
So, to recap this week . . . We cleaned and finished decorating the house, had some company visit and finished getting our presents for each other for Christmas.
Whew . . . one more week . . .
